Kate Smith - LPC, LMHCA

Kate is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William & Mary. Kate works with adults and couples navigating relationship strain, shame, rejection and grief. She has a particular heart for couples, preparing for marriage and seasoned couples working to rebuild connection and trust.

She also supports clients facing chronic pain, loss, health challenges, and various life transitions. Kate believes counseling is one of her life’s callings and considers it a privilege to sit with each client and help empower her clients to meet their goals. Her hope is to create a compassionate space where clients feel seen and heard and a safe place to process their story and move toward growth and healing. For clients who desire it, she thoughtfully integrates faith into the counseling process.
